Day August the Fifteen

Day August the Fifteen

I wake up every day and engross myself in my daily routine

Not realizing ,until it’s the big day of August the fifteen

I exercise my 7 fundamental rights day today with wisdom

Well, It’s the Independence Day  and  today I rejoice my date of freedom

My  India a melting pot of pristine culture and diversity

A mix of zillions of hopes and smiles that has bonded the fraternity

Fluttering tricolors  and heads held high in this holy kingdom

Well, It’s the Independence Day  and  today I rejoice my date of freedom

From Tirupati laddoos to Kashmir's walnut woodcarvings

To Merrut's scissors, Agra Petha and Bareilly's earrings,

There is a lot that binds us together  at random

Well, It’s the Independence Day  and  today I rejoice my date of freedom

The day of Independence marks the struggle of those who gave their all

More than a holiday its a day of remembrance  to revisit  an recall

Let’s do our bit and pay tribute  what we just do seldom

Well, It’s the Independence Day  and  today I rejoice my date of freedom

Solitude

                       SOLITUDE

Sometimes  I sit by my  window and think a  lot,
Will the black pearls in the oysters rot or not.
Then  I think of a drop of rain coming from a cloud;
That will it whisper in my ear or speak aloud.
These are the feelings which come to my mind when my mood is rude;
As what can I say, I I’m just in solitude.

The feeling which come to my heart come and go,
Just like a pendulum swinging to and fro;
The waves in the ocean rise and fall;
And my soul gives me call.
Thus I go and watch the eternal multitude,
As what can I say,I’am  just in solitude.

The  heavens show light and the hell’s blaze fire;
What I have is just my eternal satire.
I  look then for dry leaf on the weird bough,
And wait for it fall afterwards or now.
This  what I see in autumn when the soil is nude;
As what can I say,I’am just in solitude.

I  sit under  flickering moonlight and play  the tune;
With  the wind which blows is hot in the mid of  June.
I wait for the world to repose in the darkness of night,
As I know what can I find here is nothing but my own plight,
Then I look for the things by which I can conclude;
As what can I say,I’am just in solitude.

Limericks

Short Poses(limericks) by me

************************************
Dusk and dawn are the parts of day
Who knows what's waiting on next day
Who says life can change in a day!
It can even change in as second or bit of dismay
*****************************************

Life is jolly ,happy and gay
Death a clear and a vivid holiday!
When people are close we don't remember.
When they go we look for them even in amber
Tho one who comes has to go!
But who know's when ends the show?

***********************************

Life is a race where we have to run,
On the horizon I see the setting sun.
which tells me to ne fast and sharp
Otherwise it will set and put everything to dark!

HOPE – THE BEACON

                                                    HOPE – THE BEACON

Hope is the ever shimmering and sparkling light always glazing out of the glassy encase of one's heart and eyes. It is the massive power of one which emeralds even the barren infertile life, but this glowing bliss sometimes becomes opaque and obscured when the mist of despair and disappointment covers the dazzling light in its soot. It is true that everything feels good in beginning but the novelty eventually wears out. As this dismal alluring hope goes we neither recognise our self nor anyone else.
These above scenarios puts up a bitter truth of a shattered dream which never hurts as much as its everlasting echo and life just fells like a pack of cards.
Since we were an acorn we always used to hear a bagful of raucous anecdotes from our elders in which always good used to triumph over evil at the end. Those stories and adages seem to be dismay as we might have encountered different people and cases in this professional course. But above all it is very necessary to remember that there is a lot more to come in life and in this world there is no place for weakness. The one who loses isn’t the one who falls but failure is of the one who doesn’t rise to occasion and if one does not rise then he/she becomes totally isolated as he loses his own company.
Rediscovering oneself and inner confidence is the tool and remembering that running is not the solution. Commitments, sincerity, professionalism; if we try to run away from these then we reach a place so loud that we can’t hear our self or couldn’t recognise our self.
Remember Karenna Kapoor(Geet) in the movie Jab We Met during first half and the second half of the movie, during second half she encased herself in a shadow of despair. This is what happens when the spark is lost as she was the same girl who during first half rekindled the spark in sorrowful Sahid Kapoor.
Thus dear friends let not that spark die in ourselves at any moment of our lives and pursue our dreams but remembering one thing that even if get success at some point in our lives, we shouldn’t leave the relations in arrogance who helped us to reach that way because it is said the people you met on your way up to success you encounter them again on your way down and till that time they will go much ahead in life. But thank God that some relationships in life do not require an invitation for acceptance - that is our parents and teachers, because how much ever we excel in life they will always feel happy for us and they were the one who gave us the reason to dream.
Thus friends lets walk down to this path of hope and dream for a better future keeping the ever old but gold motto-“Hope for the best and prepare for the worst”, as when we dream nobody tells us what we would have to give up to achieve them and having faith in God Omnipotent as he always provides opportunities to find oneself again and again.
This article of mine is dedicated to each and every person who might have lost hope in life and I wish to Almighty that there is no one as such in the whole world.
